Background in Art
I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember whether it be in precious sketchbooks, on scraps of paper, old envelopes, magazine pages, or anything that has a blank space!
I studied Art and Design at Leeds College of Art,
Fashion & Costume at Bretton Hall College and have been a teacher of art for over 20 years.
I don't just draw....
My passion is being creative so I also paint, print, knit, sew and am teaching myself pottery. I love to try new techniques as well as traditional ones, combine them and come up with something unique.
what next?
Being an art teacher for over 20 years I have sent many students on their way to further art studies and successful artistic careers.
So now its my turn. I have decided it's time to share my art with the World so as well as being a teacher I can fulfill my dream of calling myself an artist.
